The chiller unit with “Brushless DC” inverter is the first of its kind to be designed for the marine market where, until now, air conditioning systems have made use of compressors that can run at full speed or stop completely.
Unlike traditional ON / OFF systems,the new technology allows a significant increase in energy efficiencyandto greatly extend the life of all components of the system, as well as to eliminate the sudden changes of temperature in the water used and the variations of the electric power consumption,providing -45% on the average power consumption.
The combination of inverter technology and R410A environment friendly gas has led to the creation of a chiller unit (ART.607) unique in its kind, which creates a thermal comfort on board which cannot be obtained by conventional air conditioning systems.
The first chiller proposed at the Genoa Boat Show is intended for a market segment of boats ranging from 45′ to 60′ where the problem of optimization of consumption and relative energy efficiency is particularly felt.
