A new air conditioning system which allows to control separately latent and sensible heat is presented.
The core is a 3 fluids membrane contactor which separates the air to be treated from a desiccant solution by means of a hydrophobic membrane. Such a system allows energy saving (30%) compared to the traditional vapor compressor cycle. Funded by E.U.
